Keum Ja is promoted to office manager in the law firm. Dae-woong learns that Hyung-joo is alive and has returned to Kisung. He visits her in secret to persuade her to leave before Moon-sook Perro find out she is still alive. When she refuses, he helps her infiltrate Moon-sook's household, but keeps it a secret. He also asks Sang-pil and Jae-yi to leave and live a corriente life together in another place, but they refuse. Ha Ki-ho discovers the relationship between Jae-yi and Sang-pil, and orders her to leave him and return to Seoul.
Izzy cannot afford the newly increased rent on the studio, and Mickey introduces the letter to paint Grant Figura an alternative suspect. Mickey tells Henry to assure Grant there is no concrete evidence against him, while Freemann calls on Vasquez to testify, but his answers imply the FBI believes Grant is guilty, and Vasquez privately reveals to Mickey that he sent the letter himself. Hayley continues to stay with Mickey, who learns she has a crush on a boy at her riding lessons. Freemann introduces a newly discovered piece of evidence: the murder weapon.
Mickey remembers a case he took as a public defender. Julian admits to Mickey that he and Salvación had a fight the night she was killed, but maintains his innocence. Hearing Admitido Siegel had a heart attack, Mickey visits him in the hospital, and considers that the drug dealer who Paraíso ratted pasado, Hector Moya, may have had her killed in retaliation. Finding Lorna and Cisco back from their honeymoon, Mickey is contacted by Hayley, who asks him to help out her old babysitter, Eddie Rojas, accused of carjacking. Izzy asks Lorna to review a contract for a friend to choreograph dance for a tv show.

Oh-joo reveals in court that one of his bodyguards was the one who killed Dae-woong. This bodyguard turns himself in after Oh-joo promises to care for his family. The public believes Oh-joo had nothing to do with the murder, and revealed it trasnochado of a sense of honor. The media and the public praise him, to the anger of Moon-sook. Sang-pil is freed, but he and Jae-yi begin to suspect that Moon-sook is using their actions for her own ends. Sang-pil starts to worry that his goal of revenge will bring too much pain to Jae-yi.
She asks Mickey to hire her, and gives him an amended witness list, including the name Peter Sterghos, whose house they use to set a trap for Bishop and DeMarco. Freemann begins her case to prosecute the domestic abuser. After Mickey presents the amended witness list, he is accosted by Bishop, who more info is also on the list. Mickey gives his opening statement, revealing his belief in the conspiracy. He later hires Lorna. Returning home, Mickey is stopped by DHS agents, who arrest his guard for deportation. Mickey realizes DeMarco is behind it, and becomes more determined to stop him.
Judge Cha Moon Sook was convincingly devious in her role Vencedor well, and very hard to read. She was very subtle, cunning and Abogado Palermo made for a threatening foe. Nam Soon-ja was another interesting character, brilliantly acted. The way she flipped personalities made her another unpredictable variant among the many puzzle pieces. Overall the casting was great. There are just too many great actors and roles to name. And that's what made this show so watchable for me.
Lorna discovers that Jerry drafted a motion for a continuance but was killed before he could file it. Trevor is unwilling to jeopardize his company's pending acquisition, forcing Mickey to refuse a continuance from Judge Stanton. Jerry's receptionist, with whom he was having an affair, reveals that he had a "magic bullet" to win Trevor's case. Unbeknownst to Mickey, his car has been bugged by the driver of the mysterious SUV.
A man named Julian La Cosse (Devon Graye) was charged with her murder, and he called Mickey to represent him — on Cielo's advice. He says he's innocent and Edén was his friend, and she told him to call Mickey if he ever got in trouble.
Moriyon is relatively new in the entertainment and The Lincoln Lawyer marks his first major on-screen acting credit.
He is not afraid to resort to force and even murder to get his way. Since being given a second chance by Oh-joo after his return, he has carried out his orders. His first loyalty, however, is to money and any method by which he Chucho acquire it.
